A man from the French Riviera town of Nice has been arrested on suspicion of eating part of his 95-year-old grandmother.French news site Le Point reported that the man, named Cedric A., had chopped his relative into pieces and spread most of them around her property and buried in the backyard.
The gruesome scene was found by the woman's daughter, called Arlette P., on Thursday.The suspect, aged in his 40s, reportedly had a history of mental health issues, and had been admitted to psychiatric institutions in the past.The death is being investigated by prosecutors from Aix-en-Provence.

for sure. but also, every single time something/someone like this gets caught, it gets reported on globally. if it bleeds, it leads, they say. so while it's the tip of the iceberg in that countless go un-caught, we certainly hear about every person that does.
