Mark Hunt calls out Alistair Overeem, wants rematch

Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) heavyweight contender, Mark Hunt, is making no bones about who he would like to face in his return to the Octagon.
Appearing on the most recent edition of "The MMA Hour," Hunt revealed he would like to get his rematch against current top contender, Alistair Overeem:
"If they'd like to get me a fight I'd like to get a rematch with Alistair Overeem, you know, when he comes back from his injury or from whatever, his hiatus. You know? I'd like to have my rematch with him. I'd be willing to fight next year so it doesn't matter. If he gets a title shot, that's good on him, so."
The two initially faced off in 2008 at DREAM 5 with "The Reem" defeating "The Super Samoan" via submission in the very first-round.
Hunt, who is currently enjoying a three-fight win steak with the UFC, believes the next go-around will not have the same result. The Kiwi was penciled in to face Stefan Struve at UFC 146 this past May as part of the first-ever all heavyweight main card, however an unfortunate injury forced him off the card and onto the operating table.
The New Zealander says he is currently at 60 percent health-wise following surgery to repair his posterior crucial ligament (PCL), but should be ready to fight by Feb. 2013, which is right around the time Overeem is looking to get re-licensed following his suspension.
Team Reem already revealed should Alistair's title shot be delayed, they are not opposed to taking another bout in the interim.

He also called out Manhoef. He just does not care who his next opponent is. It's not like he called Overeem out.
I'm not interested in this fight. Overeem already beat Hunt, their are plenty of other opponents avaible.

For some reason this fight really clicks and makes sense for me. Dana said that Hunt will be getting a top heavyweight next and i think Overeem should get one more fight before getting that title shot just like Nick Diaz. I would put this fight on the superbowl card. Both fighters will be ready and hopefully licensed by the time that card rolls around so why not right? both are exciting heavyweight strikers. i would really like to see how good hunts kickboxing compares to overeems K1 champ level. Ultimately i have Overeem winning via TKO 2nd round.

Correct me if I'm wrong bro,but did Hunt not win a k1 championship in Japan before,which would make him at k1 level championship level too..Apologies if I'm wrong
Anyway as a fan of both I don't want to see this fight happen

Yeah I am a fan of both fighters and I really want to see each fighter get a win in their next fight so I don't like this match up. Anyway isn't Hunt fighting Big Foot next, or was that just a rumor?

just about a perfect fight IMO. Hunt gets a major step up in comp and a very winnable fight for the guy the UFC wants to challenge the belt next

I think hunt has a better chance than a lot of heavyweights but I got overeem in this one

Yeah Hunt has worked a lot on his TDD and ground game since getting subbed by McCorkle and I think the fight would play out differently this time around.
If Reem cant get Hunt down it would be an awesome stand up war on the feet with either guy having a good chance of winning by KO/TKO.
