They are both good but I prefer the darker characters in DC.

marvel has got too many heavy hitters, even based on psychic powers alone. superman and doomsday are about the most powerful characters they got and i think they would both get spanked by the Phoenix alone.

Marvel as a whole is better but Frank Miller's Batman and The Watchmen were better than anything Marvel did. I say that while Deadpool, Wolverine and the Punisher were my fave comic chars.

I'm more of an Image fan myself as well.
Just because they have a much better variety than Marvel and DC. I like most creator owned comics way more. Anything Robert Kirkman does (Invincible, The Walking Dead), and anything the Luna Brothers do (Girls, The Sword, Ultra). I've never really been into most of the superhero comics.

I would take Rouge (One of the X-men). She can absorb the powers and memories of any of her enemies. Game over.
She takes your powers, you die.
