They really want Tate to be able to retain her title and hopefully build up a 3rd fight with Rousey.
Lame fight imo. Holly is more deserving. And for that reason I hope Nunes crashes the party.

I think that the fight that would have "blow our minds" which probably was Lawler/GSP couldn't be made for whatever reason and this fight is essentially a consolation prize. If Cyborg wasn't booked then a catchweight with Meisha would have been the way to go.

Why is no one respecting Meisha Tate? She is the champion, not Ronda or Holm. The division shouldn't live and breathe based on them. Tate is getting a fresh challenger, someone who has worked her way through the ranks. I bet you could find quite a few comments on these boards of how Rousey was ducking Nunes when the Holm/Rousey fight was announced. Holm lost, get over it.
