Really good fight Nurmy is tough as hell but Melendez imo will be to much for him.

Hmmm, this is pretty weird. Because these fight announcements make Grant the odd man out. I think if Thomson beats Bendo, he gets the shot. If Bendo beats Thomson, he faces the winner of Khabilov/dos Anjos while Melendez/Nurmagomedov fight for the title shot. Again, leaving Grant as the odd man out.

Lightweight is going back to the way it was in mid-2011. Right now the UFC lightweight division has 9 fighters on at least a 3-fight UFC winning streak.

Well Jury, Nurmagomedov, Khabilov, & Martins got huge fights to test if they've earned their spots. Green has a tough fight also. Makdessi is still low in the rankings and Barboza is probably gonna get a big fight next.

This is a tough pick. 1 fight ago I would've said Melendez by UD all day, but Sanchez had a few successful takedowns and I believe Khabib has stronger takedowns than Diego. Gilbert should dominate the standup, while using his solid tdd to keep the fight standing, however, I'm not ruling out Khabib just yet...
