i've been on his hes a damn good fighter i had hoped he'd bead Eddie and man that was a f---ing amazing fight wanted it even more after hearing them call Eddie the best 155 in the world

I became a fan of Michael Chandler during the Pitbull fight, and thought he COULD give Alvarez problems because of how aggressive he was. I didn't think he actually WOULD.
Dude just went balls to the wall from the first second... it was an outstanding fight.

Super fight. I wanted Alvarez to lose ... so it made it all that more sweeter.
I thought the tables had turned and Alvarez was going to last for the win. Chandler surprised me with the win. Yeah -- I guess I got a little negative because I recall thinking I was going to have to wait for 4-6 months for another Alvarez fight and the opportunity, for him, to get humbled by another fighter.
This is quite the weekend for MMA -- 4 events if I catch Fedor vs. Monson. I might just catch the prelims, but I heard there were repeating the main card for free (I don't know it that is bad information -- it's just what I read), because I don't think I will be up for the maid card start at 4:30 Pacific.

I was thinking that. Though, there may not be much support based on his loss last night... Maybe a fight in Strikeforce while its still open to get back in the win column first would work a little better.

I was really impressed by him. He was fearless, and even when it looked like he was done, he fought back hard and kept swinging. Real grit and a will to win.

I wasn't really impressed with him. I view him as having mediocre wrestling, mediocre striking, and above average strength. I don't think he hangs with anyone in the top 5, and struggles with anyone in the top 10. I view him as being just outside the top 10.
