After weeks of negotiation, Amanda Nunes and Miesha Tate reached a verbal agreement to meet at UFC, according to found the Combate.com from sources close to the organization. Both fighters of the bantamweight will face off in December but still awaits the definition of which month the event will house his duel: the TUF 22 Finale on the 11th, UFC 194, on the 12th, or the "UFC: Dos Anjos x Cerrone ", on the 19th.
Miesha Tate is the first placed female bantamweight rankings UFC, but was rejected in favor of the eighth placed Holly Holm when the organization chose the next opponent of Ronda Rousey for the belt. Tate has faced the current champion twice and was defeated in both, while Holm, 18-time world boxing champion, is undefeated in nine fights in MMA. Nevertheless, the former owner of the Strikeforce belt lives big stage, with four consecutive wins. His record is 17 wins and five losses.
Amanda Nunes impressed in his last fight, a submission win over Olympic silver medalist in wrestling Sara McMann. It was the fourth win in five fights in the UFC and catapulted him to fourth in the rankings, with many commentators to elect as their favorite to be the next challenger to Ronda. The "Leone" has 11 wins and four losses in the cartel

Im picking Nunes. Unlike the recent string of women Tate has faced, Amanda will be able to capitalize on the situations where Miesha is hurt or in a compromising situation. Not to mention she might be the best (most dangerous) striker she's ever faced.

Gonna say Nunes and fairly easy to. Meisha will look worse after the fight than what she did after the Zingano fight.

Nunes fights out of ATT and Tate is a FOX staple. I could see it go down on FOX.

Indeed, if you always match a guys like this: #2 vs #8, #3 vs #10, #4 vs #12, #5 vs #9, you will potentially have 3 guys that deserve to fight for a title at the same time. A bit like the HW division now that they decided to book a rematch between Werdum & Velasquez. You've got Arlovski on a crazy winning-streak incl. Browne & Mir, you've got Miocic/Rothwell winner making a point and JDS/Overeem winner making a statement. They will have to pick one of these 3 guys for the next TS, and match the other two to define who will be next. It's not called contender-killing, it's called decision-making process.

jacare is the dark horse of the division..i think jacare has more ways to win here...back into the bigger cage for romero. i also seriously get annoyed every time romero speaks!
