I'm assuming itll be UFC Fight Night 38?
Former
Ultimate Fighter
season 18 competitor Tim Gorman never got a chance to prove he could win the reality show after an injury knocked him out of the running before he even fought one of his housemates in the tournament.
Luckily, Gorman made quite an impression on UFC president Dana White when he offered to fight despite basically walking around with one leg after suffering a torn hamstring. Gorman's guts and tenacity earned him a shot in the Octagon regardless of being left off The Ultimate Fighter, and now he'll get a chance to prove his worth.
Gorman has verbally agreed to face off against Canadian Mitch Gagnon at an upcoming UFC event scheduled for April 16. Sources close to the matchup confirmed to FOX Sports that verbal agreements are in place for the upcoming bantamweight fight although bout agreements have not been issued yet.
Mitch Gagnon will certainly look to take advantage of Gorman's notoriety when they face off in April. The Canadian fighter has been extremely impressive in his last two bouts submitting both Walel Watson and Dustin Kimura in the first round.
Now Gagnon will take on Gorman as he makes his UFC debut while hoping to build upon a three-fight win streak of his own.
More information about the April 16 card will come down the pipe in the coming weeks as fights are made and become available.

Was hoping for a better fight for Mitch and a quicker turn around, rumor was his fight with Alex Cacares was scrapped due to Visa issues so I don't know why he couldn't have gotten in to the octagon sooner, but nonetheless I hope he knocks this dude out. WAR GAGNON.

Gorman seemed like he was going to be the "Bro" of the season after his "I'll never get submitted by a girl" speech. I look forward to watching him lose.

It'll be at the TUF Nations Finale
MMAJunkie
The live finale for the upcoming “The Ultimate Fighter Nations” reality/competition show, which features Canadian and Australian teams, and the event’s first fight are slated for April.
The TUF National Finale is slated for April 16, and a bout between
Mitch Gagnon
(10-2 MMA, 2-1 UFC) and
Tim Gorman
(8-2 MMA, 0-0 UFC) is targeted for the event, according to
FOXSports.com
. UFC officials haven’t made a formal announcement.
Events details weren’t disclosed, but the event is expected to air on FOX Sports 1.
In addition to Gagnon and Gorman, the event will feature the tournament finals for “TUF Nations,” which debuts Jan. 15 on FOX Sports 1 with UFC veterans Patrick Cote (Canada) and Kyle Noke (Australia) serving as head coaches. The show features middleweight and welterweight UFC hopefuls.
Gagnon, a Canadian, looks for his third straight victory. After a UFC-debut loss to Bryan Caraway in mid-2012 (which earned both fighters “Fight of the Night” bonuses), he’s posted submission victories over Walel Watson and Dustin Kimura. Visa issues scrapped a planned bout with Alex Caceres at UFC Fight Night 33 in December.
Gorman won a spot on the “TUF 18” cast this past year but was bounced after the elimination round because of a torn hamstring. Prior to the reality show, the Iowa-based fighter posted an 8-2 pro record. The fighter, whose only career losses came to notables L.C. Davis and Jared Downing, is riding a three-fight winning streak, and he owns seven stoppages (six knockouts) in eight career wins.

Yeah Gorman did come off as d-bag. I was stoked to see him out of the tournament and now hes in the UFC. I guess everyone deserves a chance but Gagnon will take this one.

Mitch Gagon is without a doubt my favourite Canadian prospect right now. WAR Gagnon.
