Hi all! I want to apply to a college in a year or two, and I want to practice MMA while studying. I'm not sure that colleges have own MMA teams, so I would like to know how difficult it is to juggle sports and studying? I'm trying to prepare for my further admissions yet and learning information about writing admission papers.

I’m not sure of any US colleges doing mma as sport. I know a lot of the wrestlers, some boxers and others cross train. I’m sure there’s tons of local gyms around colleges. Like, ATT opened up a gym at State college (Penn State).

Like the guys above said. I’d focus on finding a school you want to go to, then find a gym. If you can’t find a proper mma gym, you will almost always be able to find a grappling gym and/or a striking gym.
Plus you can look for clubs at your school. You may meet some people who want to train and know their business.
Then it’s just a matter of balancing going to school and not partying all of the time.
