idk if this should be off topic or not(if so please move for me mods) but I was watching grownups yesterday and kevin james was wearing a Sitydong shirt.
during pineapple express when seth rogans g/f is in a hotel the chuck vs rampage fight is on
anyone else notice any mma stuff in movies.
In Kevin James old show The King of Queens he wore a lot of MMA shirts. He also had a bunch of fighters make guest appearances in some episodes. Guys like Rampage, Frank Trigg, Bas Rutten, Randy Couture, Dan Henderson, and I might be forgetting a couple. Yeah, Kevin James is a HUGE MMA fan and is at a lot of the live UFC events.

can someone post the gif of him having the one fighter in a headlock and he is throwing bow's at him lol
Its funny whenever I see anyone do a legitimate move from BJJ or MMA or whatever on TV I get annoyed because I think its a gimmick and that they're only doing it because MMA is popular and whatever. However when I see fights in the movies that are BS I get mad that they arent doing real stuff

yeah but smeagol is trained only in bjj, so i think that does not count has MMA in movies.
In the Starz Tv show "Spartacus: Of Blood and Sand" there is a sequence where Spartacus is fighting in the pits, and he ends up grappling with a guy, getting armbared, sweeping and ending up with a rear naked choke. If only someone would have learned from Spartacus during the Roman times, it would be Roman Ju-Jitsu
Don't know if it's included but there are the two 'MMA' movies out there Fighting and Never Back Down.
Though Never Back Down was more intended for teenagers, it at least had better MMA-style sequences (albeit super slick and flashy) whereas Fighting was all around terrible.
Sherlock Holmes, 2009.
Watson, I believe, puts that huge guy in an armbar. Sherlock says: "What are you waiting for?"
Watson breaks his arm, the dude screams.
"That."
Also when holmes is fighting. guess that counts.
In "I Hope They Serve Beer in Hell" during the hotel scene where the apology scene happens. One of the guy is watching Danzig vs. Speer TUF finale and says how one of the fighters in a vegan.
