Not sure if you guys know Iggy, but he's our head of marketing/advertising here at MMAjunkie.com. He's done a bang-up job with the site and is a co-owner with Performify and me.
Iggy and I actually first met in a poker home game about six years ago. Iggy had a lot of success with his poker blog and was actually the one who encouraged me to get an MMA site off the ground (though neither of us expected MMAjunkie.com to get as big as it has).
Anyway, Iggy hasn't played much poker lately because of his job duties, but he recently won an online qualifier and earned an entry into the World Series of Poker main event. He's a great player and really downplays his skills (he's the only one I worry about in our home game), so he modestly said he just wanted to survive the first day of the massive tournament.
Well, he survived Day One, and now in Day Two, he's among the top of the 6,844 entrants.
Be sure to keep an eye on him and think some good thoughts for him. The prize pool for the tournament is $66 million, and first place nets nearly $10 million.

I know that this is a poker term and what it means, since I play here and there but I always giggle when I hear that pharse on WSOP is on TV!!

Our guy finished the day with nearly 90,000 chips. I believe he's still better than average, so he's in good shape heading into Day 3.

They basically play poker 12 hours a day (from noon to around 1-2am), with only a 90-minute break for dinner.

Man thats both demanding physical and mental labor there... 12 hours sitting,and concentrating. I imagine that takes a toll after awhile.
