The embedded videos on certain articles for me has always been a problem. The youtube ones are fine but the others are always choppy and sometimes freeze. I recently got a new laptop and was disappointed to see the same result.
Is it just me?

It's just part of the forum software, not on your end. YouTube typically embeds well into forums but other video sites don't have the same level of performance, most likely because they want you to watch on their site.

Sorry, I don't think I was clear. I meant the articles posted on the main MMAJunkie.com website, not the forum. The most recent example would be this-

I haven't had any issues loading that page you linked on my phone or computer. Have you tried loading it on multiple devices? Which browser are you using? I loaded that video with no issues on both Chrome, IE and Firefox.
