What sayings or phrases annoy you the most?
I will start out with "Boys will be boys" like that is supposed to justify bad behavior.
Another one is whenever women use the phrase "All guys/men/boys..." and follow it up with something negative.
Y'all. I don't care if you're a Nobel prize winning scientist but if you say y'all with a Southern drall I am going to consider you a moron until proven otherwise.
When I was at custody court (my ex was trying to separate me from my daughter) and the judge said I need to "
step up to the plate
."
I'VE BEEN AT THE f---ing PLATE BEFORE SHE WAS BORN, motherf---er!!! - I thought to myself.

Custody court is so biased.
It is almost impossible to get custody of your children if you are a man.

"That's what she said" - This has been beaten into the ground.
Or, the worst - You say something, even KIND OF funny, but then someone HAS to say, "He said.........". I know what was said, since I said it.

It cost me $$$$$$$$$$$, put me into debt, made me lose my job after moving 3,000 miles away, plus I missed being there when my mother passed away.
On the plus side, I didn't miss a beat with my kid, I have her 50% or better, and I don't pay child support anymore.

I find this exceedingly funny. I used to say ya'll when I was working for tips all the time because if people think you're stupid they have pity on you and give you larger tips while also believing you to be an honest person. Not many sly peope who suffer from Trisomy 21.
The funniest part is that almost every other major language other than english has a form of the word ya'll. It's just a plural conjugation of the word you. The English decided it didn't need to be, so we don't have one and there is absolutely no good reason for it.
Oh and the one I hate is WooHoo! The caucasian heterosexual mating call. Especially when the perpetrator is in a bar and drunk.

I never act like a d--- for no reason. I rarely ignore threads for any reason, and not much bothers me, even people who can't see dry humour when they stumble over it.
It is what it is.

I never act like a d**k for no reason. I rarely ignore threads for any reason, and not much bothers me, even people who can't see dry humour when they stumble over it.

incidentally, "it is what it is" is one of my least favourite things of all time.

And this isn't exactly a phrase, but when people describe something as "amazing", it makes me cringe. I hate that word with a passion.
If they have the full on wanker Aussie accent it is way worse but some Aussie sayings that annoy me:
You're a champ mate
You're a legend mate
Ya right..
They may not sound bad but we mock the living s--- out of a few long term Aussies over these.
