Don't know why but Jardine is one of those guys who I don't really get worried that he has been KO'd a dozen times. The strange thing is I actually like the guy... He is about to get KO'd again.

Just saw this on Challengers too. Totally called it though, Strikeforce scooped up Jardine, they want someone with a name, regardless of massive losses
Jardine is gonna lose again. He's not that great anymore, and he's taking the fight on short notice. I do enjoy watching him fight though, so whatever.

Jardine has a better chance of winning this than most people think. Im not sure of the betting lines but im pretty sure Jardine is a huge underdog and probably would make a good bet.

People over exaggerate Jardine's chin, every guy that has ko'd, tko'd him has done it more then once to other people. It isn't like he gets tapped on the chin and is out cold. Dude has been ko'd by guys who have serious power. I like his chances in this match if he moves around a lot and I think he could take him down and keep it there.

Jardine replaces injured Kyle, faces Mousasi at "Strikeforce: Diaz vs. Daley"
by MMAjunkie.com Staff on Apr 01, 2011 at 11:35 pm ET
"The Dean of Mean" will get another shot at the big show.
Strikeforce officials today announced that Keith Jardine (17-9-1 MMA, 0-0 SF), a 13-time UFC veteran, has agreed to step in one just one-week's notice and face Gegard Mousasi (30-3-1 MMA, 2-1 SF) at "Strikeforce: Diaz vs. Daley."
The slot becomes available when Mike Kyle broke his right hand in training and was forced to withdraw from the contest.
"Strikeforce: Diaz vs. Daley" takes place April 9 at Valley View Casino Center in San Diego, and the main card airs live on Showtime. The event is headlined by a welterweight title fight between reigning champ Nick Diaz and challenger Paul Daley.
While Jardine recently endured a five-fight losing streak that including four defeats in the octagon and a release from the UFC, he's since battled back with two-straight wins. Jardine most recently earned a first-round TKO victory over Aron Lofton at an event New Mexico on March 4.
Mousasi, meanwhile, enjoys a two-fight win streak since the loss of his Strikeforce title to Muhammed "King Mo" Lawal this past August.

Still a bad bet as Mousasi hits hard as hell and that does not bode well for Jardine. A underdog bet is OK if you see a legit way for a guy to win, this is a guy who got worked over pretty good by Trevor Prangley.

Jardine's a much tougher fight than Kyle but he does have a glass jaw which plays into Mousasi's game. I'm excited to see this fight. I hope Jardine gives a good account of himself.

this was one of the few options SF has it, in his roster there wasnt anybody for Mousasi and in the free agency the options were pretty slim
good pick by SF and definity Jardin now that Zuffa got SF has alot of chances and goes with SF big chance for him but still i see Mousasi take this one
it was too early to start to see trades and changes of talent betwen SF and the UFC so i think this pick was good for Strikeforce
