Would have preferred Rockhold vs. Mousasi, and give Weidman someone like Whittaker. But this is still a fantastic fight.

4 fight winning streak vs 2 fight losing streak. I mean it's a good fight but for f--- sake Weidman needs a break from guys on the cusp of a title shot or he'll be ruined.

After being KO'ed twice in a row, the way he has, this really is a questionable matchup to make managerial wise from Chris' end. But this is such a "Chris" move. Doesnt want a step down in competition. I really never thought i'd ever pick against Weidman 3 fights in a row. Its just become a reality

I think Chris just likes staying in New York. He wanted on Brooklyn but was healing up.
Probably wanted a fight as well before July when they are scheduled to be going to Long Island for a card. I assume he wants on that as well
