Mr. Robot is a new show on USA, it is about 4 episodes in right now. I absolutely love this show and I think it is the best new show on TV. I figured I would start a discussion thread for it because I think there is a lot to talk about with this show. Anyone else watch?

You haven't missed anything friend. It's only 5 eps in. Plenty of time to catch up. At the very least, watch the pilot which was released free on various media outlets.

It is about a vigilante hacker who gets sucked into this crazy world of hacking vigilantes. He is also a drug addict so it is very trippy at points. It reninds me a lot of fight club and I think one of the characters might actually be the equivilant of tyler durden. It currently is rated 9.3 out of 10 on IMDB which is incredibly high for a tv show. The only two shows I know that are higher rated than it are breaking bad and game of thrones. I highly recommend this show to anyone and everyone.

I just started watching last week. I missed a episode or 2 and I have a couple recorded that I'm about to watch. I think the last I seen is the one he wakes up in hospital after being pushed off that wall. Great show.

Also what's with that girl looking exactly like Amanda Seyfried! She could easily be her twin.

They do look very similar, but the chick on mr robot is a little tinier.
What do you think about the theory that mr robot = tyler durden?

It's comparable and a nice theory to be suspicious about. I think it would be a little cheap and unnecessary at this point as the Elliot character is interesting enough and will hopefully grow as the show goes on as opposed to having a perfect alter ego which is on display so early in the show's development.

I think they've pretty much confirmed this. I'm guessing the actual reveal may be how they close out the season.
What really confirmed it for me was a couple of scenes from ep 3 or 4. Where Mr Robot shows up at allsafe and they goto the bar. Mr Robot is drinking a drink and tells him he's gotta order something... you know, because he's sitting by himself at a bar lol.
And then there's a scene where he goes back to the arcade. He shows up and everybody there is in awe of him despite them sharing very little camera time up to that point. He sits down and somebody comes over to plug his laptop in for him... To me it really mirrored the scenes in fight club where he's running into the project mayhem crew in the world and they're treating him special because he's the f---in man.
Then there was last episode where he's going back to the apartment and Mr Robot just happens to be waiting for him in the stairwell to try to talk him into leaving darcy behind w\ the thugs in his apartment and escaping.
I'm sure there's probably other clues you could spot if you looked for them.
I'm loving the show. The scenes w\ Tyrell are pretty intense.

Yeah I agree about everything you said. Tyrell is a psychopath, straight up like Patrick Bateman. I was having a hard time getting a read on him because he did seem like he had a plan at first but I think he just lost it completely.

Yeah I loved the way they shot the final scene in last weeks episode. It really showed how good of an actor Rami Malek (Elliot) is.

Tonights episode was one of the best episodes of tv I have ever seen. My mind is still blown. I dont understand how, but hhis show just keeps getting better week after week!
