He's just 25 so he's still growing. I doubt he can go back down to 155lbs and dominate since he's lean and looks so thin and drained during his fight there.
IMO he's already a force at 170, he just hasn't faced top tier fighters. He has good reach even at 170. He looks healthy at 170 and he's still growing. Though I was routing for Davis at 118, I was impressed with Diaz.
I'd like to see Diaz vs Swick/McDonald/Saunders(if he gets back in the UFC)

I would definately like to see Nate Diaz vs Mike Swick. I'd even like to see how Nate would do against Rumble Johnson if/when he re-emerges. I think Nate would be forced to take that fight to the ground where Rumble has proven to stumble..

He's a talented kid. His size and length will always create problems for other fighters. He can take a punch, and has excellent cardio (as does Nick).
I'll be interested to see who's next for Diaz.

Diaz could definitely give a lot of WWs problems. He's tall and has a lot of reach on a lot of WWs and has some pretty slick boxing. Plus he has some of the best jui jitsu in the division behind shields. I'd like to see him fight one of the top WWs like Hardy or Condit.

Always been a good Diaz fan. I was getting a lot of s--- from the people in my section for cheering for him but it was totally worth it. He looked awesome. Took some punishment and gave alot back.

I don't know about top five. You got St. Pierre who is not going anywhere, Fitch who is not going anywhere, doubtful he can take Alves or Koscheck. Then you have Hardy, who even St. Pierre couldn't sub. And if Hardy touches his chin, he's going to hit the canvas eventually. Then you have another few guys, who would give him serious trouble....

Condit hasnt done much his self. Beating a vet is better then beating a young gun. A young gun isnt a notable win but a vet still is.

Diaz should face the winner of Hardy/Condit, i said it last night......
I would rather see Nate stay at 70 but he does have a legitinate grip at 55 right now, he lost a RAZOR thin split decision to Maynard where he beat Gray the eff up and should a won the fight if it wasnt in VA with terrible judges.... so he should be the contender in the LW division. Plus there is one or two really entertaining fights for him at 55, a fight with Gomi is WAY marketable and a fight with Sotoropolis would be insane
but Diaz could stay at 70 and move into the top 5 now i believe, a fight with Swick or Kampman would be good and at some point he needs to face Diego
