Nate Marquardt Now Debuts at BAMMA 9 Against Yoshiyuki Yoshida

Nate Marquardt will be making his first appearance in BAMMA a little later than expected, but he now has an opponent.
Marquardt will next fight at BAMMA 9, which is tentatively set for Feb 11 in England and he will face former UFC welterweight Yoshiyuki Yoshida.
Sources close to the match-up confirmed the booking to MMAWeekly.com on Friday.
The next BAMMA card is set to go down Dec 10 in England for BAMMA 8, and Marquardt was originally set to be a part of that show, but he will instead shift to the next one in 2012.
Marquardt will finally get the chance to make his move to the welterweight division after a tumultuous 2011, but he’s eager to get back in action and he’ll kick things off in 2012.
His opponent will be Japanese fighter Yoshiyuki Yoshida, who currently rides a two fight win streak, including a victory over fellow former UFC fighter Phil Baroni at the recent One FC show in Singapore.
Marquardt and Yoshida will head up the BAMMA 9 card in England to kick off the promotion’s New Year in 2012.
