The only thing stopping Station Casinos from unionization is CU's insistence on open ballots. The Fertittas have agreed to secret ballot a long time ago and the union won't.
It's a lot easier to intimidate and harass the workers that way.
From what I've read, the thing stopping station casinos from unionizing is that they can't win a vote without intimidating the voters; that Station Casino employees are well treated and happy, and really have no need to unionize.
These seems like just another weak attempt from the CU. They've tried everything from defaming DW, to criticizing supporters, to lawsuits, and now this. I think something else that won't work. Union dues are being spent on crap like this. Crazy.

They've succeeded for almost a decade now in keeping the sport unsanctioned.

And yet the sport is sanctioned and legal in 49 out of 50 US states. New York is the last holdout.

The former Speaker, good ole Sticky Palms Sheldon Silver, currently under indictment for fraud and extortion, prevented the bill from hitting the floor. That's all gone now.
This smeckle, lol, is all they got.
