I'm sorry, i guess we just dont share the same tastes in what speaks to the heart. Nickleback does not do that... All of their songs sound the same, and as stated above, they are absolutely TERRIBLE live. They are a trendy music band, who tries to be hard, but are not. Then they try to be soft, and sound like crap. They have one song that i can tollerate, and that is Leader of Men, and after that, its terrible.

i could care less about numbers, the two bands shouldn't be compared like that until Nickelback influences millions of musicians and the likes. I guarantee people will be covering Beatles songs 40 years from now, which I doubt can be said for Nickelback (save maybe a few bands playing at bars in the sticks of Tennessee).

As for the people that left, they seemed to skew towards the older, non-curfue, segment of the crowd. But a visual observation without numbers is worth about the same as a Nickleback cd.

I think there is maybe one or two songs that are decent. The rest all sound the same and are crap. But those songs are good enough to save the whole band. I'd rather they just never existed altogether. The music is for teenage girls and middle aged women.

I listen to everything from Classical to Death Metal...lol. I'm pretty open minded. I like Nickelback from time to time. They've got some decent stuff fo-sho! They were in Edmonton a few months back, and were sold out almost instantly. I don't like them enough to fork out that kinda money...lol. But alot of friends who DID go, said they were AMZING live. Nothing worse than an awesome band - who SUCK when they aren't in a recording studio. Black Eyed Peas comes to mind...
But to put them up with the Beatles just tells me you haven't heard much from the Beatles, nor the THOUSANDS of other top artists who were inspired by them.
