No love for UFC 138?

I honestly don't get why ppl are complaining about the ufc 138 card in november. First off, its a FREE card, you will not have to spend a dime to watch 3 hours of mma. You get to see 2 of the top middleweights in Mark Munoz and Chris Leben, who lately has been worth the price of the 50 bucks, which wont be the case for this event. THen theres two top prospects at 170 in john hathaway and pascal krauss in a very intriguing fight. Another thing i dont get about people's complaints is how they're complaining about brad pickett and barao being the co-main event. The two guys have a combined record of 46-6 i think and they're two of the top guys in the bantamweight division. This fight could really help us see who could be next to fight cruz/mighty mouse for the title. Pickett vs barao getting the co main event is giving the lighter weight fighters the respect they deserve.
So i think ufc 138 is a pretty good free card imo and is definately worth 3 hours of my life.

I dont really think Leben is in title contention but beating Maia def put Munoz in the discussion. I would assume he would need to beat Leben and another top guy like Vitor to get his title shot

Thats no upset av had Papy surprising everyone and dominating the fight, ats how confident a am in Abedi thats why ma locations been like at since he signed for the UFC.

I'm pretty excited for this card since it has Chris Leben and Brad Pickett on it; although I will have to avoid some of my friends(they like to spoil the results for tape-delayed cards)

As a should be hes a massive guy at 185lbs, and now hes decided to make the drop to 170 he'll be a force for anyone... a complete powerhouse with bombs in either hand solid TDD which is a good thing because lets be honest the Divisions run by top wrestlers, and you cant forget the guys Judo is phenomenal to he'll be able to TD alot a guys of his own.

I think its one of the worst cards of the year. But since its free i'll check it out, good main event..a five round non title fight..good stuff. But!! If I lived in England I would be pissed at this card. But I guess the PPV time differences and what not fall into arguement..
But if they came to Chicago with this card, I would call up Dana myself and say "WTF Man? Are you serious? I been waiting all year for yall to come and you bring me Mark Munoz?"
Munoz is overated and lost to Maia. Munoz is getting TKO'd late in the fight.

lol, Papi Will lose to Alves, it will be a FOTN thou, and people will love both fighters, This is a give-me fight for Alves, and Papi is amazing but a huge step up in competition and I think hes going to have a rough first outing.

It is a good card for the knowledgeable fan but the casual fan won't have a clue who these guys are except maybe Leben and Alves. The point of coming over here is to get new fans interested and keep the current ones happy, this card fails at both IMO.
I think one more great fight would help this card hugely. Maybe they are holding out for Rich Franklin(he is often on foreign cards). I would like Lyoto to fight here maybe against Phil Davis or Henderson(also has been this side of the water). That would turn this 4/10 card into a decent 7 or 8/10.

People who are complaining are not the people who want to watch it on TV. The people complaining are those from the UK who have to pay extortionate prices for a poor card. Lets be realistic, this is a Fight Night card at best, but the ticket prices suggest that it's one of the best cards. Prices for Silva Vs Sonnen were less than tickets for Akiyama Vs Bisping and the prices for 138 will probably rise again.
