Agreed.
He didn't spit on him, didn't sucker punch him after the bell. He didn't stand over him and laugh at him. He won the fight, wanted to get up celebrate. but there was someone in his way. Don't think he will be rushed to the emergency room for a little push.

Ya i did really hate when royce would hold chokes, for wayyyyy to long. That's much worse in my opinion but, and yes it's a sport for men and be as ruthless as you want up until the end of the fight. But in my opinion you shouldn't go pushing a guy over when it's all said and done.
Sure, this may be a man's sport but it doesn't defend this guy being sort of a d---. You can tell he really disliked Papy at the end even, just the glare he gave Abedi looked like pure hatred. Not too sure what Papy did during or before the fight to piss off the southern man either.
It's not a big deal at all either it just means he has no sportsmanship and won't gain any fans being an a--hole. Greg Jackson was right, go make sure he's alright go get some more fans.

It really hinges on how you view it. Is it a man's sport or it's a sport where you can see what man is capable of.
Personally, one of the things that I find interesting about structured MMA is that it is both. Simultaneously and at times, individually. Not the one-off or odd happening, but that the frequency and intensity acts like these occur at with regard to a particular fighter is benchmark used by many to determine their allegiance as a fan. I find that pretty cool.
It's also true of how you feel about a fighter, too. They can be a d--- and a nice guy - just like above, sometimes simultaneously. Take Royce Gracie - you're right, I do think Royce was a bit of a douche for holding those longer. Maybe he had good reason, maybe he didn't. But to me, they always seemed to d--- moves and still do. I've also had dinner with Royce (14 other people, too) and he was one of the nicest people I've met. Super cool dude and yet in a match, he could be a bit of a d--- - maybe not liking his foe was how he motivated himself to fight, who knows.
That's why the idea that because someone finds one aspect of someone distaseful or unlikable, they therefore 'hate' someone (or really dislike them) is ridiculous to me. That's why the use of 'hater' or 'hatin' as a rebuttal isn't something I take seriously very often. Warranted on the odd occasion, most times it's weak sauce because there ain't many people who are perfect or even deserve being treated like they were. Most of us are both dicks and good people, in varying ratios.
For example, I like and love my mother, but I hate it when she uses mom guilt. Even at my age, the s--- still works and that alone f---ing pisses me off to no end, without even getting into the specfics of each event. 70 year old mother and she can still get me. Like about three days...awww, f---. I started to describe something she did early this week and I'm torqued now. See, she can even get me when she's 2,000 miles away, not presently engaged in a conversation with me and 3 days removed. That's some powerful mom mojo.
Now if you want to talk about hating? I hate mom mojo. Nasty.
My point is for such a violent sport, its amazing how many crybaby fans there are.
I dont mean that to call anyone out, but its constant.
Crying about a terrible decision in very close fights, crying when someone doesnt show perfect sportsmenship, or crying when someone does damn near anything.

So I can't call people on being a classless douche? Nobody here is saying he should lose his job in the UFC, people just simply point out the fact that hes an a--hole and they want to see him get KO'd.
