I remember that 1st round of their first fight, wow, I was cheering my *** off for Tito because it looked like the old Tito and he was giving Forrest his biggest *** whooping he ever experienced, until he fought Anderson Silva ofcourse...
I HAVE NO IDEA WHO IS GONNA WIN THIS FIGHT.. I'm routing for Tito as always but I kinda don't wanna see Forrest lose 3 in a row.
One thing is for sure, Tito is going to have to step up his training for Sure!

Yeah, this should be a good test for Tito in his first fight back. I think Tito takes it with a late 2nd or early 3rd rd tko or decision.

Griffin wins this one too. Only this time the judges will stay awake beyond the first round.
I love how before the Machida fight Tito saying he was 100%... that it was the first time since before Couture he was 100%.... Said he had a pain free training camp for the first time, etc..etc...
After the fight he claims he was only at 60% against Forrest, 75% against Evans and NOW he claims he was about 80-85% against "Matyuschenko", although he meant Machida.
Funny how things change when you get your *** beat... he even still says that Machida ran away from him. Whoa! If Lyoto ran away from Tito when TIto was at 85%, imagine how scared he'd be of Tito now?!
Funny, though, he never mentions how it effected him in the wins over Shamrock.... and never uses it as an excuse for the losses to Chuck.... which all came mixed in between his 60 - 85% period. I'm just thinking, he must have only been at about 65-70 against Shamrock and Chuck, right?
Please, Forrest, beat Fatheads ***!

Props to Tito for taking this fight. 1st fight back and he faces the former former Lightheavyweight champ. If Tito can get past Forrest, he is one fight away from Machida. Let the Punishment begin baby!
-I would be kind of scared to face Forrest right now though, after what he went through. :?

I'm proud of the UFC for not giving either Tito or Forrest gimme fights. But this scares me, I've never been a huge fan of Tito, he's kinda hit and miss with me, but he is a good fighter. Shamrock vs Tito I is in my top 3 fights ever, but everyone loves Forrest; even being as media shy as he's been, he's like everyone's best friend and big brother, and you can never not root for him in his fights.
This is a dangerous fight, hopefully Forrest is mentally sound and to be honest i hope he switches up camps. Couture's is great, but he needs to sever ties with Warrior, they have become a joke and have run it into the ground financially and their main trainers have all left other than Cavalcanti, and Forrest dosen't train his BJJ their anyway.
I'm going to pick Forrest, hoping he will be hungry after his two losses....but that's what i said about the AS fight :? But Ortiz is coming off a long layoff, and probably will have a little ring rust. If Forrest can stay on the outside, and pick Ortiz apart on the feet, and NOT go to the ground unless he initiates it, I see a UD for Forrest. Man it sucks, i can't for the life of me even make myself believe Forrest can win this by KO or TKO, Sub maybe, but I can't see him knock Tito or anyone else out anytime soon.
I'm not sure if i can handle Forrest losing again, I cried like a little girl last time, pretty sure I'll have to head to a psychiatrist if Tito KO's him. Unfortunatley I'm not even kidding

AGREED! Tito's said numerous times he needed a tune up fight. He's certainly not getting one here.
I don't think this fight is as close as people are saying. Forrest is much better than when he last fought Tito, and Tito hasn't shown improvement. He's the same guy AT BEST, or he's not fully healed and never will be. You have to give Forrest a big edge, partiularly after getting handled like that against Silva, he's gonna come out strong. Forrest's been KOd by Silva, Evans, and Jardine, all big punchers. Tito's not nearly the puncher that those guys are. If Tito is 100% and is able to get takedowns, he can get a decision. I just think Forrest wins it. Either way great fight and I'm excited!!!

Forest may be a little bit better than last time. But he also got his a** handed to him his last 3 fights. And how can you say Tito isn't better. When is the last time you saw him fight? When he barely lost to machida?

What fight were you watching? Or did you just happen to turn it on when Tito had that triangle locked in?

Oh I am aware that machida won every round , but Tito still almost won the fight from that triangle. He went all three rounds.

I wouldn't call simply going three rounds "barely losing". Maybe If Tito won a round and lost by split decision then yeah I could see your reasoning but Tito got picked apart in that fight.

This is alot better than Tito vs Coleman imo.
I'm going to take Tito via 2nd round TKO stoppage. I think Tito is ready to crush somebody and I think Forrest is still trying to figure out where he is from when he got ktfo by Anderson Silva.

Seeing as I thought Forrest won the first fight I'll stick with him.

Forrest is an easier fight for Tito then Coleman was because Tito can easily out wrestle Forrest. I'm not suggesting Tito will win, I just think Forrest is a better matchup for him then Coleman was.

I'm going with Forrest.
Speaking of him, does anyone have that animated .gif of his face plastered on Forrest Gump's where he's running? I need to see that again.

very tough to call seeing as tito hasnt fought in over a year and forest just got straight up embarrassed in his last fight. no telling how either of them will perform
funny that this is twice now they have matched tito against forest after a long awaited return

Probably have to go Forrest. Sure, he's coming off of a couple of tough fights, but against top-of-the-line guys. It has been YEARS since Tito has done anything truly impressive. I'll have to see something out of him after this long layoff before I become a believer.
