Strikeforce needs to give this fight to Wedrum,he is coming from wins and has two wins for strikeforces so he is the net in line for the title, not Rogers, put rogers against other figther so he can start to build him again as a title contender, a fight against some no name like Wes sims type of figther, antonio would be a good choice but he is alredy in line with AA and i cant think in another HW oponent for Rogers that it is in SF.
a good posibility can be getting tym sylvia and putting against Rogers.
botom line is sf needs to teach this people from M-1 they dont rule SF, if they want to play dirty thats find sf can exist without them and if fedor doesnt want to fight because this people from M-1 thats find, the HW needs to move on without Fedor.
get Alexander to SF to get more pressure to Fedor to get out of those scumbs from M-1

since when, in mma, does any organization have to follow 'ranking' rules for title shots? the ufc does this ALL THE TIME: Lesnar, Anderson Silva, Belfort.. to name a few. Overeem vs Rogers will be WAAAAAAY more entertaining than Overeem vs Werdum. stop hatin' on SF.

is the right thing to do, having a ranking rules gives MMA more fundaments to be a sport, Wedrum has more merits for that title shot than Rogers, and please dont question again my love for SF, i love them, i am a hughe fan of them, but what`s fair is fair and Rogers is not the number one contender in SF HW roster right now

it happen before i know but still that doesnt make it a good thing, a fair deal, couture title fights the majority of those he doesnt earn the right to be in those title fights, in my opinion this has to change in MMA promotions, earn your right to be in a title fight

I wouldn't believe any rumored SF heavyweight match-ups until April.
What makes sense:
Overeem v. Fedor - title
Rogers v. Werdum - #1 contender
Bigfoot Silva v. Arlovski - #2
What will probably happen:
Overeem doesn't fight in the US
Fedor's management has issues with SF - M1 co-promotion
All the HW fights get pushed back further
Arlovski fights Bigfoot or a scrub

Rogers was lined up to fight Overeem for the title before, but got screwed over. So in a way he's getting what he'd been originally promised. M-1 is seriously f'ing things up though..

2 time PRIDE champ, has fought Anderson Silva, Rampage Jackson, Wanderlei Silva, both Nogs, Arona, Ninja(when he was decent), Gracies, etc... not to mention was in line and supposed to get a shot at Anderson Silva again. He had exposure from The Ultimate Fighter and is coming off wins over both Rich Franklin and Michael Bisping. And is more than likely a universal MMA hall of famer.
Rogers has one win over Andre Arlovski and no wins over anybody else of any significance, in fact hasn't done anything else of much significance in the MMA world. Getting ko'd by Fedor isn't a positive simply because he fought the guy.

It would suck if they do this and Rogers and Arlovski win - contender 1 & 2 have then both been KO'd by the champ recently.
