MMA Judging Doesn't Look So Bad Now, Does It?
This might belong in the OT, but I thought I'd see if it can be here.
After tonight's bizarre Pacquiao vs Bradley decision, seems like MMA judges are actually alright

I'm usually the last guy that will buy into a conspiracy theory, but let me take a crack at it. As i was tweeting back & forth with Showdown, we agreed that if Manny/Mayweather doesnt happen then there is literally NO other bout on the horizon that's remotely appealing....imo.
So, you rob Manny of a win and set up a rematch. After tonight i'm convinced boxing is corrupt. I want to hear Dana chime in on this.
Imo it wasnt even close. Goes to show that there are judges more ignorant than Cecil Peoples

Did it really take until tonight?
The money was coming in big time on Manny and the line moved a fair bit from the opening point. The perfect type scenario for a fix.

 terrible decision, I gave Bradley 3 rounds, and felt like I was reaching a bit in doing so, giving him every benefit of the doubt. The fight was in no way close though.
Still there have been worse decisions, Rios - Abril a few months back was worse than this, just not as high profile.

I don't even care about Pacman vs Mayweather anymore. I'm more excited to see Canelo, Cotto, Amir Khan, Chavez JR, Marquez, Serg.Martinez, Ortiz, some of these guys take on each other. I'm tired of Pacquia and Floyd.
Pacquia looked bad in the Bradley fight too, Pac-man had the straight left and that was it. I will say Bradley is lucky if he won 3 rounds lol but both looked sloppy in a bad fight.
Idk what can be the reason though...fixed because boxing wants another name to make money off of? Or was it just horrible judging?
Give Bradley Cotto next lol Cotto will demolish him.

Fixed for the rematch money perhaps? Hard to really know. I haven;t heard a single person who thought Tim won. 2 judges aside.

There's always been a cloud over the sport...especially when Don King was more involved. But with the talk of Manny leaving Arum, this is pretty obvious. Bobs not ready to give up his golden goose.

Yesh, thats what i think. I really wish i cared more about boxing, but i dont. It's a huge black eye for the sport. At this point i dont even wanna watch Pac/Floyd anymore. Not confident either guy could get a fare shake.

Re: MMA Judging Doesn't Look So Bad Now, Does It?
Yeah it does, the whole downfall of boxing has been helped by terrible bullsh*t decisions. One terrible decision in one sport doesn't negate terrible decisions in another. We want to prevent MMA from going down the same path as boxing.

Re: MMA Judging Doesn't Look So Bad Now, Does It?
Boxings had one of the most polarizing characters serve time in prison for rape. (He also bit a chunk out of a mans ear)
It's current p4p king is sitting in jail as we speak for domestic violence.
And now this? I don't think mma OR the ufc ever had anything to worry about.
