I thought Huerta fought fairly badly, especially for how favored he was, and I gave Curran the fight when I was watching it.

i gave it to curran as well. i thought roger had it in the bag after he got the takedown, but curran got him right back.

For crying out loud don't say who won and put up a spoiler tag in the title. Bellator is on 1 day delay for me and I try to avoid finding out who won so I can watch it and enjoy the fights 100%.

My advice would be don't go to MMA sites if you're trying to avoid results.

i thought it was a robbery
Round 1 was very close but i will give it to Curran
Round 2 was a domination by Huerta
Round 3 i gave to Roger as well he was more aggressive landed the better and more effective shots both had 1 TD a piece

That doesn't sound like a robbery, just a shitty decision on a close fight like Jung/Garcia or Penn/Edgar.
Machida/Rua was a robbery, since there's no way you could A), have been paying attention, and B) know anything about MMA, and actually think that Machida won.

what? So you give 1 round to Curran, 1 round to Huerta, and the 3rd was close so it is a robbery???

I just do not see this being a dominate fight by either fighter. Roger was definitely more of an aggressor and backed up Curran a lot, but I think Huerta did more, though he certainly didn't look like his usual self. I just...meh.
I vented on the Junkie Hotline, but even in the voicemail I said I'll have to watch it again. I just don't think Curran should have got the win. It was close.
ROGER, DAMN IT! DON'T LEAVE IT TO THE JUDGES! YOU'RE USUALLY GOOD ABOUT THAT!

MMM was that really Huerta fighting?
Honestly if that wasnt then most horrible performance of his career then idk which one is.
Huerta seemed tired at the end but as soon as it was over he was ok. He was punching sloppy punches then ducking down and getting hit by Curran.
Horrible performance by Huerta.

I still think his fight against Leonard Garcia was worse. Dude looked gased within a minute.

No matter who he fights, he seems to fight to the level of his competition. Whether it's fighting up to it, or down to it.

Once again huerta dissapoints. I personally never felt that he was a great( honestly even a good fighter) and has always been a product of hype which with his lackluster motivation and fight preparation ( that's obviosly olny a assumption but I feel it's pretty clear) that is far from capable of delivering on.

My thoughts from the "Huerta post UFC" thread. Still seems pretty true, he'll bounce back probably.

I think there are few fighters who will be dominant consistently over a long period of time in the LW division. I don't think Huerta will be one of those guys. I chalk him up as a Spencer Fisher type fighter, not a criticism at all, a solid action packed fight, but one who just isn't quite champ material. Say what you want about Maynard and Florian, he didn't look good against Guida, Garcia was a run of the mill fighter and gave Huerta fits....
I just think he's going to be one of those guys who puts together some good wins, has some losses, has some wins, some loss...
LW division is a tough one world wide.
