CORAL SPRINGS
By the time Kenneth Parkerson told a nurse he made a mistake, the evidence was already on his face.
Parkerson, 28, was arrested Wednesday night after he allegedly sneaked into the screened patio of a home, carrying a video camera, police said.
The homeowner's wife saw him and yelled for her husband, Pembroke Pines firefighter and parttime mixed martial arts fighter Ireneusz Fajkis, according to the police report.
Fajkis chased Parkerson onto his front lawn and tackled him to the ground, according to the police report.
Parkerson, of Coral Springs, was taken to Coral Springs Medical Center, where he talked to a nurse treating his wounds.
"I picked the wrong house," he reportedly said, "because a UFC [mixed martial arts] fighter lived there and beat me up."
Parkerson was arrested on one count of burglary, one count of video voyeurism, one count of marijuana possession and one count of tampering with evidence, for allegedly trying to destroy the camera while he was being chased.

However, I believe in certain states, if you chase someone out of your home and pursue them and attack them outside, you can face charges as well. But I understand the man's frustration, I probably would have done the same, or just shot the f*cker.

i was thinking that too. i dunno if its only for shooting someone outside your door, or for beating them up too. i guess u can always say u wanted to place a citizen's arrest, and he retaliated.

Nice, never even thought of the citizen's arrest!
I think because of the crime and what not, they will proably just act as if it didn't happen, that way.

This is hilarious. Now he should sue this fool for time out of work for hurting his hands on his dumb head. He actually doesn't look that bad, considering. You would at least expect a broken nose and swollen eyes. The homeowner probably didn't want the guys blood all over him and did just enough to get his point across.Then finish up with a nice swift kick/stomp to the balls.

It would be a tough sell to a jury to convict a guy for beating the crap out of someone that trespassed and video'd his wife. Plus the guy used his hands, not a gun or a bat. Plus the guy is a firefighter and recognized as a 'hero' in Miami for saving someone life in Haiti and being "Firefighter of the Year', I think this guy could have dismembered that scumbag with a rusty saw and he would still be loved and revered by all.

Usually these materialize in civil cases rather them criminal as far as the actual criminal sueing the person that caught them but did so in a manner that skirts law.
