Meh not really.. he took away the point deduction because the knee grazed KOS.. the INTENTION was still there though.. point deduction should have stood imo

Kos told him the knee didn't land though. If Kos wouldn't ahve said that, then I'm sure he would have took the point.

Oh he said that? My bad I must have missed that
Hes still a sub-par ref in my book. Same guy that let Kimbo get punched for over a minute against James Thompson without stopping it, but immediately steps in when Kimbo finally lands a big shot.
Even last night, he let Kimbo take unanswered shots waaay to long before stopping it. He threatens to stand up Kos/Daley while Kos has his back? Seriously? And he kept seperating Carwin/Mir after a 15 second clinch. Total douchebag in my book. I love Rogans on-air complete and utter disdain for Dan.
Dean, Rosenthal, Levine, Mazzugatti, Yamasaki are all better than big Dan. Hell, Kim Winslow is better than Dan in my book.

I'll have to rewatch it but I'm pretty sure I heard Kos say "It didn't land very hard" and thats still should have been a point deduction.

Yeah that was crap. the guy had already given up, but i don't think anybody has taught him how to tap or verbally submit yet.
If a fighter can look up at you and say this guy isn't fighting back, the fight should be over. even if you aren't doing damage on top, the guy on the bottom isn't doing anything.

IMO that was just an earlier example of what happened after the final bell: Daley was so frustrated at getting dominated and not being able to get off in the standup that he couldn't hold back. I think it was conscious, so yeah, I agree with the deduction. Daley just couldn't get it done within the rules.
This seems to be a fairly common occurrence now. Faber took about a minute plus of damage from a crucifix and it wasnt stopped. Not really sure when this started but I'm noticing it and not really liking it. BUT! The solution to this problem from a fighters standpoint, is to stop throwing shitty little rabbit punches and knock the dude out.
