Nah, Ferguson is s--- out of luck, Lee on the other hand could fight the winner of Vick/Gaethje or Alvarez if he resigns. Lee isn't in title talks yet, he's one good win away though.

I don't think Ferguson will be happy, he's been calling for Diaz fight now he finds himself falling further down the pecking order. I wouldn't mind seeing him and Lee rematch. With Lee 100% fit this time

They probably told Poirier that title shot is a no-go cause they are making Khabib vs connie. So he took an easy money fight instead. But makes me wonder if they actually will make that title fight.

if motivated, in shape, Nate shows up. The last time we saw "Im here for the paycheck Nate" he was absolutely mauled by RDA.
Curious if we see Dustin try to take him down often. Diaz isnt the best fighter in the world, but his style is a difficult one to approach if your main style is striking with little leg kicks.
We forget how good Nate is, at range, when he is locked in and focused

Sure. if you wanna go the easy route. I'll step up my side of the bet. If Nate loses I'll use a profile that you create for me for a month or longer, no problem. Or even stay off the site for a certain amount of time.

I'm pretty sure nate took this fight as he sees it as his easiest way to a top 5 win and rematch with McGregor.
Before he was turning down all sorts of fights with "lol at that fight" "everyone is boring" "nobody interests me"
Imo He sees Dustin as another little guy coming up into his weight class that will be a easy win.
Although if Dustin fights smart I see him winning

I feel like Ferguson is on retainer as the backup option if Conor or Khabib get injured. The UFC isn't going to have that big a card get scuttled by yet another injury or missed weight in the main event, so Ferguson is on hand if things go haywire.
As for Poirier vs. Diaz, I'll take Poirier all day long. Diaz hasn't fought in over two years.
