But I tend to agree with Bill Maher a lot lately.

I just think that in any given news cycle there will be a few stories that stick around in the zeitgeist which have little to do with genuine public interest... and more to do with narratives/agendas that are being pushed by the billionaires who own said legacy media outlets and their friends (quid pro quo agreements).
