To be fair, when Kalshi accepts 'pinky promises' as proof you don't have inside knowledge of events you're profiting off of... is anyone really surprised?

(not saying I would have done this, but... I'm not shocked at all that someone did)

He is so bad for the city that you could almost believe he is part of a super villain plot to sabotage NYC. If you showed this potential future to a New Yorker anywhere from the '00s backwards, and they would think it was extreme satire. They wouldn't believe that New Yorkers would actually elect such a person. Crazy how much can change in 20 years.

In a speech at the Nelson Mandela Foundation's Leadership Forum, Mamdani said that like him, Mandela also faced accusations from leaders in the Jewish community who claimed he was stoking antisemitism because of his criticism of Israel. "It is easier to compromise, to abandon a longstanding belief and forsake a principle than to stand firm," he said. I have no idea what the appeal is (be it sports or politics)

All he does is scream and whore out whatever position the powers that be at ESPN tell him to whore out. He's been busted numerous times advocating for or against positions that he has little to no actual knowledge about.

I'll give him the benefit of the doubt on his NBA/basketball knowledge (I don't really follow the NBA, but he seems to have semi-intelligent takes when it comes to basketball), but why anyone listens to his opinion on literally anything else is beyond me.


I'm sure that it's a persona/act and he's probably a decently fun person to hang out with off the clock (you don't stay in the business as long as he has without being amicable), but his on-air sthick is insufferable.
