That sounds awesome but I dont think they will ever load up a Jones card. He is one of the few guys left that can sell PPVs by himself. His cards are often pretty bare.
I'd actually put this fight as a Fox main event. They want exciting fights on Fox right? This is one that could show off the best MMA has to offer.

The PPV card would probably look like this:
Jones vs. Gus
Cruz vs. Mizugaki
Kennedy vs. Romero
Cote vs. Thompson
McGregor vs. Poirier
The UFC likes to put an exciting scrap for the opening two bouts of PPVs, then have elite PPV level fights fill out the rest of the card. Cerrone will probably be moved to a different card.

There are still rumors of a larger venue for 178. If so, expect them to load it up. That is reportedly why they have not announced the venue.

I'm pretty much drunk on the McGregor cool-aid.
He made short work of Brandao, but that was to be expected. I honestly think that Charles Oliviera is a much better fighter than Brandao... and McGregor tooled him with a bum knee. That performance proved to me how good he really is.
