On Playstation 1 my favorite games were "championship Motocross" & the "Oddworld"series. Now that I'm on Play station 2 I've gotten addicted to the "Dynasty Warriors" serries.

Abe's Oddyessy was one of the most impressive looking games i remembering playing at the time....i'll never forget being incredibly impressed with the way that game looked.

The cut scenes were equal to anything on XboX. Many of the cut scenes are in the Xbox game "Munches Oddyessy" & they aren't any better than they were on Playststion 1. I really liked the concept of the game as well, it kinda reminds me of real life. You know, the little guy fighting back against the ungodly rich, powerfull, corrupt corperation.

werd.....and that whole A.L.I.V.E. mechanic was incredibly ground breaking at the time. being able to talk to NPC's and have them respond to your actions using Gamespeak was a brand new concept. I'm willing to bet it was one of the first games to do that, giving way to the Tom Clancy games, SOCOM, and Ghost Recon that utilize the team commands. damnit now i really want to play this game again....its been so long.

Street Fighter all the way for me. I remember sneaking quarters from my dad's nightstand and going to the laundrymat with other kids from the block to play Street Figher 2 when I was 6 years old. Now I play Super Street Fighter 4.

:lol: :lol: I didn't realize I was getting so much flack for not liking Mario. I'm just an EXTREMELY selective gamer and games where you have to go through obstacles to complete levels like you do in Mario games just don't appeal to me at all anymore. Nevertheless I have put in my fair share of hours playing every Mario game from the very first to Super Mario 64(including Mario Paint).
EDIT: I just remembered the specific genre of game that most Mario games are. Platform games, I can't stand to play platform games.

The only Oddworld game I played was the one that launched with the original Xbox, and Stranger's Wrath. SW was alright, but it was an FPS and nothing like Abe's Exxodus.
NO goodcat you must play the first two oddworlds. Two of my favorite, most original games of all time. The dark humor alone makes this game really special.
What an intense list. For the list, Mario is the only one of played a lot of the game of. So that would have to be my choice.
Tom Clany's Rainbow Six is probably my favourite series,
God of War, Resistance, Bad Company, Marvel/DC games, are some of the other, that have more than one that i play. the only reasons i would want an xbox is for Left for Dead and Gears of War. but i don't play my nephews anymore.
