This poll is here to settle the debate once and for all. Please keep this thread clean. No fighter bashing, no trolling. State your opinion and back it up facts and a solid argument. I for one do not believe Alistair can be considered a top 10 HW.
My Argument is simple. He hasn't faced a top 10 HW and has never faced a solid wrestler in his career. He's a great streaker with unproven ground skills. Dana White agrees with me.
Others on this board including Hitman21 and Fedor_Is_God think me and Dana are insane, and that he would mop the floor with many UFC HW's and that he deserves to be in the top 10.

Why would Alistair Overeem not be in the top 10? He's a wrecking machine, sure he hasn't done that much of beating big names in the heavyweight division, but with that being said he still deserves a spot in the top 10 at the moment.

I think he is top 10.
Some might argue that he hasn't been fighting top contenders recently which is true.
However, none of his fights have even been close to competitive. He has completely massacred everyone he has fought recently.

The only way I see Lesnar pulling off a win if he manages to take Overeem down before Overeem touches him.
Overeem is a more powerful striker than Cain in my opinion.

That's the main reason for the toss-up, we don't know how Overeem is cardio wise either at heavyweight. If Lesnar could take Overeem down before getting punished and wear on him, I wouldn't be surprised if Brock could finish with ground and pound, but as I said I would lean towards Overeem a bit in that fight.

I'm being ABSOLUTELY FREAKIN SERIOUS! Bobby Lashley is a great wrestler. All Lashley has to do is continuously take him down again and again and win a decision. It's not that hard to figure out. Lashley's a great blanket. Only problem he has is his cardio. That's why I said Madsen and Cormier could beat him too. Overeem is a stand up fighter with good jitz. He's not a good wrestler, or at least hasn't proven it yet. I honestly think 8 out of the 10 fighters fedor posted could beat Overeem. Why? Because they can take him down and control him on the ground. My pendulum swings in favor of the fighter with a better wrestling base.

Bobby Lashley would get absolutely wrecked by Overeem. Bobby Lashley couldn't beat Chad Griggs, what makes you think he would beat Alistair Overeem? He wouldn't lose to Madsen or Cormier either. Madsen's striking is complete trash and Overeem would spark him before he could get it to the ground and the same with Daniel Cormier. Come on dude, let's be serious.
