Netflix, it has a better selection for me. More anime, more tv shows

If Hulu + had shows on cable networks, instead of just network tv shows, then it would be way better. But, until then, Netflix wins. They might not have current runs of TV shows (they used to for stuff like Weeds, Spartacus, etc.), but they have a heck of a lot more TV shows and movies than Hulu Plus does right now.

I'm getting rid of cable and was looking at NetFlix, i don't know what Hulu. NetFlix is so limited in a Canada. i don't know if it's gotten better. i don't watch live action sitcoms, or the 8pm on drama cop/lawyer fests, etc
I know the US has a much better selection on Netflix, and anyone canadian who's got it and wants to chime in.
on that note, what is Hulu?

We went Netflix with the Wii, and overall have been pretty damn happy with it.

I agree. Netflix seems to be way better. As soon as I have some more free time, I will go back to Netflix. Too damn busy to even fool with it now.

Hulu was a start up that teamed with major us networks to compete with YouTube in online streaming videos. Their library is not user oriented it it programs from the networks. When netflix went big with in home paid streaming service, hulu followed suit.

I like both, but if I had to choose it would probably be Netflix, even though Hulu plus has some of the new anime premiering in Japan which I absolutely love. Netflix has more shows/movies that I like also.

I have Netflix and really enjoy it.
I looked into Hulu, but there just wasn't enough content to justify the purchase at this time.

So, does Hulu have "new" shows? As in It was on last week, I can watch it now?
I think Netflix has the shows after their current season.
Is this accurate?

Yea, Hulu shows current shows. Netflix you have to wait (I think for the show to be released on DVD)

LOL
I'm the only one that voted Hulu?????
I like Hulu because it's current, while Netflix has older seasons of shows. Also, Hulu has two great original series, QuickDraw and Pram Face. Loved em both.
Shows I watch on Hulu: Modern Family, QuickDraw, New Girl, Shark Tank, Colbert Report, Last Man Standing, Parks & Rec, Master Chef.
For the record, I also have Netflix, Amazon Prime, HBO Go ( all free from friends accounts
)
The streaming movie selection sucks on both Netflix and Hulu, so that's a wash. The only thing I really use Netflix for is to watch documentaries.

Apples to oranges really. Netflix is different than Hulu. Hulu is more current episodes of current shows. Netflix is more movies and full series of shows. You need both unless you don't care about current shows and don't mind waiting until they end up on Netflix.

I don't think so. I have HBO.go, but I also have Dtv with HBO.
Neither Hulu or Netflix for me, I have Dtv. Sure it cost more, but I get what I want, when I want it. The genie DVR is the s---. 500GB storage. Dtv On Demand has every show, every season, of every show for channels you have. Also the movie selection is bigger then Netfilx, and also gets movies before and some exclusive releases now.

Dish has the Blockbuster, DTV might but my friends who have it do not have the Blockbuster on theirs but that may be the programming package they have. Netflix won for me as well, I tried both on the Wii and Hulu just lacked too much to stay with it.
