Velasquez VS Dos Santos
Rua VS Evans
Silva VS Belfort
St. Pierre VS Koscheck
Edgar VS Maynard
I'd say they all are facing formidable opponents that could take their titles. And I don't recall which fight is first.

Edgar for sure the rest will keep their belts.

In order of most likely to lose to least likely to lose
1. Edgar (Fighting someone he's already lost to once.)
2. Velasquez (Kind of an unknown. How good is JDS's TDD? Who is the better striker? I think the first title defense is the most difficult)
3. Rua (Rashad could just try and hold him down for 5 rounds. I think in that time Rashad will likely lose to sub or KO)
4. Silva (Neither fighter has fought a striker like they are fighting in this fight. I think Belfort is AS's first real threat on the feet. But definitely a big underdog)
5. GSP (GSP is least likely to lose simply because he is fighting a guy he already beat. And this time GSP will be A LOT better)

I would switch Cain and Shogun but other than that I agree. I think Cain could do what you think Rashad will do to Shogun.

Ya I was back and forth on those two. You may very well be more accurate with your suggestion. I was giving Shogun credit for his experience and all around badassness.

I voted Shogun. I just think Rashad will have too good of a game plan, crazy speed, control him on the deck and keep busy on the feet with elusive stand up.
Frankie is likely to go down too though, imo. It's amusing that he still gets no love, but I don't think it's nonsense to say that it really could've just been a very bad stylistic match up that contributed to his victories over BJ. I'm more than happy to start shoveling humble pie down my hatch if he takes out Maynard though.

Ya Rashad is good but wont get that title shot til late Spring. GSP, Edgar, Silva all fight before those two will and I bet Cain vs JDS will happen around the same time as Rashad vs Shogun if not sooner. So you think all those guys will defend their belt?

I agree with this right here. You could bounce all of them around really though. I think if Rashad tried to hold shogun down, he'd get swept and submitted or pounded on. I think Vitor could catch A.S. Chael hit him, if Chael could hit him Vitor can too. Edgar could get held down. Brock was able to hang a little with Cain while striking, so in theory JDS shouldn't have a problem doing it also. Kos could land the shot of his lifetime on GSP.
I think the best thing about MMA is That while it can be easily predictable, anything can happen at any time too.

On the couple of occasions where BJ took the fight to the ground edgar was uncomfortable. I expect that to be the sole game plan of Maynard and he'll probably grind out a boring UD

I agree about Edgar. He is a great fighter, but there is something about having already beaten a guy that usually gives one a mental edge in a fight (even in boxing). I would say that Cain is least likely to lose his next fight. He has good footwork, a good chin, and he can LnP at will if he wants to.

Ya and most of the other champs have something about them that makes them as good as they are i.e. GSP's wrestling and Silva's striking. Edgar doesnt seem to have that.

To be honest, I was working under the hypothetical assumption that there was no time difference between the fights and who I thought was most likely to lose.
Cain - JDS is a fight either guy could win, but I think Cain will be a comfortable favorite. I've just soon too many fights pitting two fairly evenly matched fighters against one another, and wrestling always seems to be the difference. I don't think this fight will be any different. Furthermore, I think Cain will expose JDS's cardio by pushing a pace he can't match.
Silva and GSP will also be heavy favorites, and rightly so in my mind. An Anderson Silva who comes into a fight knowing he's going to have somebody stand and trade with him always brings out the best in his performances. Consider Leben, Irvin, Griffin.
GSP is too intelligent and well rounded and will out-do Koscheck. The difference between the two will be GSP's transitions between striking and grappling.
Spoken about Frankie.

GSP is the most likely Champ to lose his title next. He is facing a fighter who, stylistically, has the tools to give him a lot of problems.
However, I think the fighter that will be the biggest favorite in their next defense is GSP.
If all the Champs were fighting on the same night, then my answer would be different.

Oh alright ya then that makes sense. Should prolly not how often that belt changes hands as well. Rampage defended it once then lost to Griffin. Griffin lost to Rashad. Rashad lost to Machida. Machida "defended" it once then lost to Shogun.
Silva and GSP will also be heavy favorites, and rightly so in my mind. An Anderson Silva who comes into a fight knowing he's going to have somebody stand and trade with him always brings out the best in his performances. Consider Leben, Irvin, Griffin.

You mean a guy with inferior striking, MMA wrestling, athleticism, and BJJ has the tools? All Kos has is a powerful over hand right that can be seen coming a mile away.
