My vote is for Carlos Condit - flying knee followed by vicious punches up against the cage
Leben's was easily the biggest KO of his career but it was a lil bit more 'lucky'... the first left that hurt him was more Leben trying to blindly answer WSs flurry.

Dong Hyun Kim had no business being in the octagon with Carlos Condit
This win also displays why Carlos Condit could be the fighter to possibly dethrone Georges St. Pierre as well, in my opinion.

I agree with both statements BUT because i agree with the first one i can see the justification in making carlos win one more fight vs a top contender - i hope not and i dont think the UFC would risk it since Carlos would be a big PPV pay day - more interesting in seeing GSP rematch any of his other fellow WWs
Regardless of GSP vs Diaz i say GSP vs Carlos partly because stylistically i like Carlos vs GSP better

These two statements don't make sense together. How does Condit show he could possibly be the guy to defeat the most dominant WW ever by knocking out someone who doesn't even belong in the octagon with him?

I definitely see your logic and i thought of that myself but I think Condit's style and tenacity could be the equation that could solve GSP

Precisely. Plus, Carlos Condit may have intimate knowledge of Georges St. Pierre since they've trained together at Greg Jackson's Fight Camp.
Though, you should still go and read my statement for a more in-depth look of what Carlos Condit would bring to the Georges St. Pierre fight that no other fighter will bring. driven-on with a little help from Oro3, and PsychoIcon's statements about Carlos Condit's ground game as well.

I read your statement and agreed i was just picking out those 2 remarks to make a comment
I replied to the other users comment about they dont make sense together only because i could see the logic
Again i say regardless if GSP beats Diaz in his next fight i say Carlos vs GSP for carlos' next fight

I agree across the board
"Condit earned the night's "Knockout of the Night" award, Ortiz picked up the "Submission of the Night" bonus, and Cruz and Faber took home "Fight of the Night" honors."

I never disagreed with the statement that Condit could be the guy to dethrone GSP. In fact, I'm VERY excited to see that matchup. But the point still stands, if you really think that Kim didn't belong in the octagon with Condit then his win doesn't count for much does it?

just puts his ability on display - exciting fighter PLUS the UFC needs someone new to put in front of GSP
GSP vs Carlos regardless of GSP/Diaz outcome
Lawrence sorry to make you explain yourself twice was just making sure you understood i was on your side of it

Kind of how I feel about Jim Miller. Everyone knocks him because he hasn't really fought any top ten competition. A valid point, but I feel that he's shown enough of his skills against the opponents he has fought to qualify as a contender in the division.
BUT, saying that Kim didn't belong in the octagon with Condit was extreme in my opinion.

In my opinion, it was Carlos Condit knocking Dong Hyun Kim out (I don't care what it was called, Kim was clearly Pat Barry-face unconscious).
We in the UK didn't get a prelim broadcast surprisingly, and the UFC.tv stream we were offered only kicked in during the Njokuani/Winner repeat, so I've literally just seen dos Anjos' knocking Sotiropoulos out. That was probably the wildest, widest right hand I've ever seen thrown. It was more reckless abandon at the end of an exchange than technique.
Melvin Guillard's destruction of Shane Roller was to be expected, so nothing special there.
Chris Leben knocking Wanderlei Silva out was also expected on my end, but not so quick and in the way it happened. I envisioned some form of UFC 92-esque flurry, with Wanderlei getting dropped from a Leben punch the way Terry Martin was, and being quickly disposed of from there.
All in all, I'd go 1) Condit, 2) Leben, 3) dos Anjos, 4) Guillard.
