Pretty sure Ellenberger and Sanchez havent signed to fight each other yet. Sanchez just broke his hand what a month ago? Dont think the UFC will sign him to a fight until they know his hand is good to go.
And Shields was the #3 WW in the world and still top 10, Brenneman just lost to a guy outside the top 10. Brenneman fighting Shields would be a step up from Johnson so I dont see that happening at all

Yeah I know whoever wins out of Faber/Bowles will get the next title shot.... but anything can happen (injuries) so with a win over Barao Pickett could still possibly fight Cruz if anything happens to those guys.

I personally don't think Faber should get the title shot if he wins because he's always only had to win one fight after losing a title fight. In his last eight fights, he's 4-4 with all four losses coming in title fights (title loss to Brown, win over Pulver, title shot rematch loss to Brown, beat Assuncao, lost to Aldo, beat Mizugaki and Wineland, lost to Cruz).
Dana should do an AKA and try to make him fight Benavidez or some sh*t.
The only problem, of course, is that Pickett/Barao would need one more win to deserve a title shot, preferably over a Brian Bowles, Scott Jorgensen or Joseph Benavidez which means the only suitable option for the next title shot would be Brian Bowles. I pray he beats Faber... and I'm nowhere close to being a religious person.
