With Jardine putting up a very game performance against Rampage and Forrest coming back from injury this fight makes perfect sense, since Forrest can come back and test himself again against a tough guy and by no means a gimmie fight. Also its a chance for Jardine to prove that he is a little more than a gatekeeper. Both guys have improved since the first time (Forrest has improved more) and both are coming off fights they could have won and were ethier winning easily or it was even.
What are your thoughts?

Last part of your statement kinda confused me, but i know what you mean. This WOULD be a pretty good fight I think. Give Forrest a chace to redeem himself or let Jardine solidify his contender status. I'd buy the PPV

If there's a time for this fight, now would be it.
I say do it. Both guys are coming off losses, but they can probably handle another as long as it comes against a tough guy.
Chuck vs. Forrest is a decent idea, but I think they will probably give Chuck someone easier en route to his last big money title shot. Although maybe a #1 contender's match with Forrest will be as close as he gets.

I like the idea. I was actually calling for Forrest-Jardine 2 recently in another thread. If Forrest wins he works his way back towards a potential big rematch with either Evans or Rampage
I am sure Forest will want this fight because he was so upset when he lost to Jardine the first time. But Jardine might think twice before taking it, he needs a win to keep his UFC top contender status alive his record if i am not mistaken is either 5-4 or 6-4 in the UFC.

I wouldn't mind seeing that fight (hopefully not as the main event), and I think Forrest would take it. But if he lost do you guys think he would cry again? What the hell was that about, anyway? :? ?

Anybody else want to see Vera vs Griffin? I do!
They can match up Jardine against Thiago Silva.
Then Chuck vs Franklin if he doesn't get knocked out by Silva
