WOOOOO HOOOOO
That was close.I woke up this morning to NO POWER because of the winter storm system coming thru.Rain and freezing temps are responsible.Called the Power company from my cell.Got myself ready to go to my sisters house a couple of blocks away....I had to have coffee and Internet access
.I get that and I'm fine.Soon as I go out the door I HEAR THE POWER COME BACK ON........Thank God is wasn't another one of those 3 day affairs.
Is this system in your area?

Here in Blacksburg, VA, we were supposed to get at least 6 inches of snow (later changed to at most 5 inches) with a quarter inch freezing rain. This would all start Monday night and end Wednesday afternoon. We've had no snow, yet, and its raining a lil right now, but its 34 degrees so it won't freeze too quickly. What's funny is every school system, including every community college, is closed in our local area ... except the main colleges. This is how it always happens.

yeah, i woke up this morning and was standing on my back patio in shorts and flip flops watchin my dog do his biz and my tootsies were a lil chilly....

It gets really hot in my girls dorm, so we turned the AC on this morning

Yeah so overnight we got 5 inches of snow, today we are supposed to get up to 1.5 inches of freezing rain and then another 2 inches of snow on top of that. Southern Indiana weather blows!

I've been able to see my breath outside at anypoint in time for most of the last 3 months. I'm ready for spring
