I know this is a "friendly Event" and all that stuff in memory of Weeman (who most of the noobs don't even know about) but I still gotta say this.....

17-14-1 JFC defeats UJC via Dec.
Good fight boys. Keep training and maybe next year you can compete with the REAL league.

So are you willing to say the fact Goodcat didnt participait, him and MWHF did a top lock challenge. Those are two pretty good UJC fighters.
Additionally a guy like Morbid (former champ) didnt participait in that part either.
I will not take away from the fact you guys were better in the UJC/JFC matchups, but the long term facts still support the UJC as the better league.
Also I am doing my best to be a sore loser, I did my part, but some others failed misterably.

Goodcat did the same thing last year so there is no difference there. As for MWHF all I can say is HA-f---ing-HA!
Facts are facts sir. JFC beat UJC 17-14-1. Deal with the fact that you were all wrong and that the UJC is the inferior league. Sometimes reality sets in and it sucks. This happens to be a time for the UJC to have that realization.

I have been relevant since JFC 1 son. I am a constant Top 20 Fighter in the JFC. Recently had 2 Contender Fights that I lost. Will be back in the Top 10 and contending for the belt soon.

1) this wasn't a competitive fight. If it was, there wouldn't have been any full lock challenges, and people would have trained properly for this fight
2) last year the Old Guard and New Breed teams were had picked for a 25 vs 25 fight, which meant they were the best 25 from each team. This year, everyone who wanted to be a part of the JFC vs UJC was allowed to, and we ended up with 32 vs 32. So only those who signed up and asked to be in got in. There were some great fighters from both leagues who would have been selected for their leagues team, but either fought on the undercard, or didn't compete at all.
3) some of the people fighting for the JFC, were actually UJC fighters who agreed to fight for the JFC in order to have their fight on the main card

I think both are pretty equal and either could win depending on the event.
However I feel that the UJC has more exp. almost everyone starts in the JFC it seems and as they get older they move to the UJC cause its a belt they don't have or just for a change. I think in time if this trend continues the UJC will eventually be the better league. BUT i think once it does become the better league and dominate for a while eventually it will switch back to the JFC just like it does in the NFL between the AFC and NFC.

No but setting criteria (8 fights in last 10 or 4 in last 5) and verifying they belong is something that should be done if there was to ever be a valid showdown.
These things were clearly not done.
Again, we are only pointing these out cause you chose to attempt to gloat about a victory the JFC no doubt earned, but its not a true indication of how things would have gone.

would it be worth considering having a UJC vs JFC superbowl style event at the end of the year? maybe outside the actual competition? idk cause this debate always comes up at some point every year.

It is the ONLY indication of which league is better. Since it is the only indication you have no evidence to dispute it.

False, the stats regarding points per fighter ect had a lot more merit and showed the UJC was better.
Sure sounds like this debate is going to have to be solved at some point.
