Random MMA thoughts

I helped to train Randall Barefoot about 10 years ago. It was a complete disaster. I'm not a professional fighter, and have no experience in training fighters. I used to like to fight. So, this dude thought I could help, and it didn't.

Randall would learn one move and count on that for working in the fight. In one occasion, he learned how to do the superman punch. That was the only tool in his arsenal. He went out, tried the superman punch, it didn't work, then he got TKO'd.

I'm no Din Thomas or anything, so I expected him to lose. The dude was just crazy and wanted to fight--even though he couldn't fight. But he has 4 official bouts, all losses. That was quite an experience. Randall was half retarded I think, like HK, and thought he could get a UFC contract. But training with me in the pool didn't cut it.

He moved on to Georgia, or North Carolina, or something. Hope he's doing okay. Hope he isn't fighting anymore.

From what I can gather Penske Media Corporation all ready owned shares in vox media they have just bought out vox media for total control witch means at a user level nothing has changed only at a corporate level

Vox media was bought by Lupa systems.

SB Nation was bought by Penske Media who then created a new subsidiary called PMX Global, which will house the spun off Vox Media brands including SB Nation and Bullets Forever.

Happened recently in June.
