Mutation
on his title-winning effort against
bonzyRFC
. The JFC title is difficult to defend for any period of time, which speaks volume for our legendary inaugural champion,
Lightsout84
, who defended the title several times before suffering a losing streak that took him out of the Top 10.
Congratulations is also due to the two teams advancing to the Team Grand Prix Finals,
Junkie Kickboxing Academy
and
Art of War
. I'll post the newest team rankings shortly after posting the individual rankings.
JFC 22 performances were better than JFC 21, but were still sub-par compared to the normal scores we've seen in past events. While nobody predicted all 10 fights correctly, ten people predicted 9 of the fights correctly. These JFC competitors include
Castellammarese,
Avonbarksdale, DanielsanFTW, Showdown, Lightsout84, skidds, Villain, Goze, Chaely
, and
Snapcase
. Chaely led the way, nailing 4 out of the 10 fights EXACTLY correct.
According to JFC competitors, there was no bigger upset on Saturday night than Josh Neer's submission win over Mac Danzig. 86.3% of us picked Danzig. Only 13.7% of us picked Neer. Other upsets include Matt Veach's (33.3%) controversial TKO win over Matt Grice (66.7%), and Gleison Tibau's (39.2%) submission win over Rich Clementi.

Damn Doug. JKA had all six men win. 2 of them actually dropped in the rankings. 3 only managed to climb 2 spots each, and 2 of those were leapfrogged by at least one fighter with more than 10 fights already! Only Pillman4's ranking climbed significantly. That's just harsh.
I looked at the ranking points from JFC 21 and the scores put up at JFC 22, and I don't think Doug made any mistakes.

Ya it suck when ya win and go down. I went from 5 to 6 to 4 to 2, with 3 consecutive wins while in the top 10. Its not easy to stay ranked highly. Even a win against a lower ranked opponent can make ya drop a spot.

I hear you, Champ. I've won three fights in a row and moved up a grand total of one spot. As EW mentioned, I actually dropped two spots this week and was leapfrogged by Stella, who has the same amount of losses as I do and five less wins.
Essentially what I'm saying is that Stella is a fraud. However, you will knock him out at JFC 23 and everything will be okay.

Holy F what do I have to do to get in the top 10? I thought for sure I would be in after Saturday but no. Looks like I'm just gonna have to go out and win a 4th straight to get there.

Seriously. :| This is why I warned Ace before I joined up. I know it doesn't really matter but I dreaded looking up the results today. I am just so pissed I am so wrong all the time. At least I am not a gambler, although I think I might just start taking -P picks and posting them as my own. :?
