I'd love to see them match him up with Kennedy, Machida rematch, Dollaway, or Marquardt. Anyone got ideas? I could see him getting a main spot on prelim vs Kennedy for NYC card.

I think he should fight a middleweight.

That actually makes sense. Two old guys who used to be elite at LHW, both have been losing and both dropped to MW. Let's see if either is still relevant; loser retires.

Top 6 UFC Middle Weights
Luke Rockhold
Chris Weidman
Jacare
Vitor
Bisping
Silva
Top 6 UFC LHW
Jon Jones
Daniel Cormier
Rumble Johnson
Glover
Gus
Bader
This seems more like a damned if you do, damned if you don't scenario. At least the guys at MW are a bit smaller - but they aren't exactly small. And Sugar's problem has been being slow to pull the trigger and getting beaten to the punch. Not something that is going to be improved by fighting faster guys.

Bisbing? I think the top 5 wrecks him tbh.

Bisping is currently ranked 4. Rashad won a controversial split decision against him when Rashad was in his prime. And while they are around the same age, it is Rashad who has lost a step. Bisping - for better or worse - still seems to be fighting at the same level he always has.

Any chance to rerun this I am all for!
Besides... Evans might be the only one Lyoto is beating these days.

If Vitor Belfort loses on 198 they could make Rashad x Vitor.
Lyoto is interesting too but i don't know how he's situation with USADA is at the moment.

Lets see how Vitor looks at 198 first, I think he's going to look like garbage personally, if thats the case then Vitor is the best case scenario. Or Robert Whitaker.

Agreed and now imo it's too late, I can see most of the top 10 destroying him.

The fire in his eyes is GONE.

Won't work. He's too old to be dropping down in weight after all this time. He will get
slaughtered
.
