It was funny, but I honestly kind of felt bad for the telemarketer guy...
I'm sure everyone knows someone who has been a telemarketer or has been one himself. It's a crap job. I just use my call display and if I don't recognize the number, I don't answer.
I will admit that it was funny, though.

I've got caller ID but sometimes the telemarketers call under Unavailable or Private numbers which my family and friends overseas come up as so I end up answering it.
When telemarketers call I usually tell them to hold on, put the phone down and walk away. If the mood strikes me, I will answer their questions with a question and talk over them when they begin giving me answers - it seems to irritate them to the point of hanging up on me.
