Fight Master was a joke. I enjoyed the show... but Bellator's lack of foresight really showed.
Before Joe Riggs won the title of "Fight Master", they never hyped up the fight beforehand. After the fight, he wasn't given a trophy, there were no balloons, no streamers.... A huge missed opportunity. It was treated as any other fight, and Joe Riggs quietly faded back into obscurity.

Yeah, they underplayed the championship. Combine that with the injuries he got after leading to the long layoff and it just didn't matter.

Happy to see Riggs get another chance in the UFC, I'm sure they didn't mind that he got a tiny bit of publicity from Bellator. They could sell Diaz v. Riggs and at least get Diaz back in the cage.

Yeah. I actually liked the concept, but the execution was pretty rough. WAAAAAY too much mindless babble regarding the fighter picks, especially from Joe Warren and Frank Shamrock. After the first couple episodes cameras seemed to only be on set for a couple hours a day.

Diaz and Riggs have a lot of history that's why I said it. It was tongue in cheek, the fight today wouldn't be nearly competitive
