So I was reading on MMA mania that Rich will fight at whatever weight the UFC wants, he mentioned that he would fight Micheal Bisping....I for one would LOVE to see this fight,...WHY, you ask? Because I believe that it would be another Quarry style highlight reel KO for Ace....Obviously, if he loses to Bisping, he really should hang em up...Since Rich is coming off a loss though, he needs to fight someone who is also....What about Ryan Bader?
Thoughts??

If he loses to Bisping he should hang them up? That's not really anything to be ashamed of. Hate to break it to you, but Bisping is a good fighter

Aye, as much sh*t that Bisping gets for being a terrible person, he is a good fighter, will he ever hold the title? Probably not, but he will be a tough test for anyone trying to get there.

Well, consider what Rich did to Hamill, and then how Matt pretty much beat Bisping, so what I'm saying is that if he loses to Bisping, it means he's lost a step and a half and might want to think about going back to teaching Mathematics.. Don't get me wrong, Rich is by FAR my favorite fighter that's why I made this thread.....

That is MMAth and it's doesn't work! Just because so and so beat so and so means he would beat so and so. Don't make a thread about Franklin and turn it around to bash Bisping.

I don't think saying that Hamill beat Bisping is bashing....Maybe a gently shove, but not bashing, so who should RICH FRANKLIN fight then?

I think he looked tiny against Griffin. I also thought as far as being better, Franklin was better than Griffin.
MW or 195 is where Franklin needs to be.
Franklin vs. Bisping, Marquardt, Sonnen, Belcher or any of them sound good to me.

Franklin might not even be a top 10 MW. Although thankfully for him, MW is the shallowest division out there.
I think Rich is awesome, but he is just not or has he ever been a great fighter or an elite talent imo.
I hope he can get a win or two and hang them up.
Oh and Bisping beats him imo.

I see more fighters like rich going to Strikeforce now that they know its not really burning bridges.
Rich obviously doesn't fight at MW because of Anderson Silva well if he went to Strikeforce he would have the capabilities to capture the MW title there.
He should go to Strikeforce for a MW tourney.

Yep, maybe he can finish his career avoiding Anderson. Anderson goes to Lhw. - Franklin goes down. Anderson moves back down - Franklin moves up.

All them would be good, I'd like to see a welcome back Belcher.

He can just ride out his career at 195. No Silva in that weight class.

Griffin gassed and after a dominant round 1, did offer much up after that. I thought his size was really the only thing he ha going for him. Not that either fighter brawled, but after round 1 i thought Franklin was more crisp with his strikes. And then Griffin started going for the takedowns just to get the win on points.

Franklin being more crisp, is something to be expected I guess, so ya, one things for sure, there was never a fight I was more sure of, calling Forrest by Dec.

Whilst I agree Bisping should have lost the Hamill decision I also think he should have won the Rashad decision. So MMAth says that Hamill is a better fighter than Evans? It just doesn't always work like that, another example being Evan quite easily beat Rampage. Rampage got a close decision win against Machida but we all know what Machida done to Evans lol. I think Bisping Vs Franklin would be a good fight though and think it could go either way.

Wow! Fairly dominant champion until Silva came along, and never been a great fighter??? That's a bit harsh, isn't it?
But, Bisping/Franklin is the perfect fight for both of them. Both like to stand and trade. Bisping would have the speed advantage, and probably more technical, but Rich would have the power advantage, and wouldn't wilt under pressure. Good fight, that either guy can win.
