I usually see both sides of fights. A lot of guys don't get credit for some of the stuff they do, and most matches are a lot closer than people point out.
This one though, Fukuda did fine in the stand up and better in rounds 2 and 3, had the ground game and did the damage.
and controlled the fight, the octagon.
Don't really see how Ring won a UD.

I was a bit surprised so I immediately went back to the fight. Other than the takedowns in round 1, Fukuda did very little standing and in the first takedown, Riki was completley defensive as Ring threatened with an armbar and/or triangle. I'd have to give the first to Ring.
The second round, Riki's striking got better and I thought slightly better than Ring's and Fukuda got one takedown. I would have given it to Riki, but apparently the leg kicks stole the round.
The third round undoubtedly went to Fukuda. No way Nick could even have come close.
I would have scored it 29-28 Fukuda.

he possibly won round 1 but he lost the other 2 rounds easily you would have to be blind def and dumb to score it for Ring.
who where the judges on that card? and can this descion be reversed possibly since its not sactioned in the states?

Not a single athletic commission in the US has the ability to reverse the fight. It's sanctioned and fought on Australian soil. The only people that can reverse this decison are the Australians. It's covered by the Combat Sports Act (NSW).

I am dissapointed in the decision and Rings performance. I am Canadian, know guys who work out with him in Calgary and what I saw, he lost the stand up, the wrestling and take downs and did not desirve the win...I was accually stunned when they announced the decission.
