Robbie Lawler contract.....anyone know?

Was doing some searching and trying to find when his current contract expires. I'd love to see him back in the octagon.
Wandy, Leben, Marquardt, Jorge Rivera & Vitor would all be pretty sick. Say what you want about Robbie, but he's one of the hardest punchers in the sport.

Definitely some sick fight for him in the UFC. I don't think he'd ever get by Sonnen or Okami but all the ones you mentioned would be sick.

Robbie has no chance competing with the talent in the UFC. Half of the people say his KO tonight was "setup" by strikeforce anyways, so I wouldnt buy into the hype.

Well, he signed the four fight deal with EliteXC. If that had carried over straight it would have ended with the Shields fight. But then Lawler signed that "long term, mutli-year" extension that was never disclosed if I recall correctly. But the Lindland fight is three fights in...

his ufc fights were awesome. he had crazy power even at 170lbs. there are still a few fights i'd like to see for him in strikeforce.

I'm not sure he could ever break into a top contender status, but stylistically how sick would him vs. Anderson Silva be? He would be at the striking disadvantage buut he brings in serious power.

i would LOVE to see robbie back in the ufc. he is only 28 and he still can improve but his striking has sooo much power. the ufc needs more fighters like him not that lay and pray s---

the 185 division is thin as hell in MMA in general. Robbie can easily cut it in the 185 division.
Imagine him fighting Bisping. He can Hendo him
Fighters like Chris, Belcher and Akiyama who dont have the technique and Power he has.
Its just a very green division specialy when Vitor is #6 without fighting at 185 in years and we dont know about his gas tank either.
plus Jorge Santiago is ranked #8 wtf lol

Lawler is an entertaining fighter for sure, and I'd like to see him back in the UFC. In addition to those four which would be awesome, wouldn't mind seeing him against Bisping or Belcher(hope his eye is getting better). Lawler's grappling is decent, just not good when compared to guys who are top notch.
*Funny when Lawler was Hughes' assistant coach on TUF 6, he was almost like a piece of scenery or tree on the show. He'd get a solid 30 seconds plus of face time per episode, but only a sentence of talk time if it was lucky and it was picked up by someone else's mic. Joining the company of TUF 12's Cormier and TUF 11's Jake Shields.
+Lets face it though, Lindland has been KO'd many times in his career. Might be time for him to hang it up in MMA, transition to a full time coach. Heck, MAKE HIM AN MMA JUDGE!

You're right about this,Plus Lawler is not happy with not getting that fight with Mayhem instead he fights Lindland in Strikeforce i tell you Matchmaking genius is lost all the time.

Lawler/Wandy or Lawler/Leben would have FOTY written all over it. I don't think there are many more marketable fights in SF for Lawler. Possibly Hendo or Mayhem, but that's about it. And Diaz has gone on record stating he has no interest in a rematch with Lawler whom he now considers a friends.
Dana needs to sign him.
