I would worry more about who you are going to fight next because you are still a ways away from fighting Belfort ever again

Maybe not so far away as you think. That fight makes sense. Vitor needs to fight a Top Ranked MW and Rockhold is just that guy. I believe in a rematch Luke wins. I was hoping for Bisping / Rockhold but Michael chose a path of least resistance with a Unranked fighter. He could have asked Dana and Joe for the Rockhold fight after being called out and saying he would fight him. I guess he is smart enough to know another Guaranteed loss would not be good at this point. Saying that Cung just might catch him and give him another loss anyway.

Belfort would destroy him in a re-match, Luke isn't on his level and it is not a good fight for Luke.. if he is obsessing this much over the first loss to Belfort if he lost a second time with him not on TRT.. I think Luke might go kill himself

I don't blame him for wanting to avenge a loss, but I'm not a huge fan of rematches unless they are completely necessary (e.g. a title shot). That said, I believe I would side with Luke in a rematch even after he was destroyed in the first fight.

I can see a strong wrestler like Weidman beating Belfort but I have a hard time believing that outside a front kick to the face that any one whose specialty is striking will be able to defeat Belfort..

I tend to believe Luke is trying to slime his way into a rematch in order to line up a title shot, that being said, I also tend to believe a rematch would go completely different.

I'm with him on this.
For me personally, I have a hard time getting past a fighter cheating (PEDs).
I can overlook a lot (if not almost any) outside of the sport nonsense) DUI's, getting arrested etc. but the roid nonsense has to taken very seriously unless we want a sport about as interesting as WWE.
This view has caused me to lose a lot of respect for some of my favorite fighters (VB) included.
I think you are right about LR lobbying for a rematch, he wants that stain off his record & if he gets the chance to fight Vitor (sans PED) he will beat him.

I don't blame Rockhold or Bisping for being bitter. Men that are Vitor's age don't just naturally blow up like he did. Hendo, Shogun, and Forrest didn't add several pounds of muscle on TRT so I'll always be skeptical.
Belfort-Rockhold as the co-main for UFC 176 sounds great but I wonder if Vitor will ever fight again. He may feel lost without TRT.

He opted to drop out of the fight. He has only himself to blame for his position. He didn't have to confidence that he could get clean in time, then (months later), realized he could. Too f---ing late, now you have to wait again.
Personally, I think Belfort should fight in the mean time, to stay active. Time off can be a huge detriment to a fighter.

Agree outside of Anderson Silva Belfort is not going to lose to a striker and that is all Luke is..this fight will take place on the feet and all Belfort as to do is tag him once and he is finished because there is no one better about finishing a fight once their opponent shows they have been hurt

That's what the UFC said, that's not what Belfort says. When they bumped the fight date up to May they should have put Belfort in the fight. Sounds like DW is looking to make it right though.
